Kid knife sale blitz

ONLINE sellers of knives and acids face up to a year in prison if they sell them to children.

A new law will require customers to buy the items in person to prove they are over 18.

Sellers will face up to 51 weeks in prison and a fine if they post such items.

Home Secretary Sajid Javid said: “It is totally wrong that young people are able to get their hands on dangerous weapons such as knives and harmful acids.”
