Ascot so hot Britain swelters in flaming June
BRITAIN is set to swelter in the hottest June since the famous Summer of ’76 with temperatures soaring over 30C next week.
The Met Office’s long range forecast says the mercury will easily reach the high 20s by Wednesday.
It means the record for the hottest day of the year, set at 29C in April, could be smashed.
And the record for the hottest ever June, set at 35.6C in 1976, could also be in danger of being beaten.
It is good news for England fans who are hoping to celebrate reaching the World Cup knock-out stages on Thursday,
