It’s plain cooking for Brits
PEOPLE lack confidence about cooking with a quarter of us sticking to just three recipes. A study found bangers and mash was the favourite dish for most, followed by beans on toast and spag bol. The poll of 2,000 adults by meal-kit company HelloFresh also revealed only four in 10 Brits knew more than nine recipes. The fear of going wrong and wasting ingredients meant people stuck to the same meals. And although 73% can chop an onion, only half would be confident about frying a steak.
