Plea by ecstasy student
A STUDENT has asked for forgiveness after taking drugs with a friend who later died.
Alexander Chippendale, 20, admitted being involved in the supply of ecstasy taken on the night Luke Johns, 19, fell down the stairs at his halls of residence and died.
But he said after the Plymouth Crown Court hearing: “Don’t make me out to be a bad person. I lost a good friend.”
He said they were in a group who bought the drug together. Sentence was adjourned to Wednesday for a probation report.
