AN ex-boyfriend is spreading rumours about me being useless in bed.

He’s angry because I’ve come into some money and am now dating his former best mate. He’s jealous and angry and thinks he’s entitled to a payout. Can you believe that?

I’m not accusing him of outright blackmail, but I feel that if I were to give him a few quid, then he would go away. What should I do?

JANE SAYS: Don’t give this snake a penny. If he contacts you again, tell him to leave you alone or you’ll be forced to speak to a solicitor about this intolerable situation.

He’s clearly jealous and miffed, but nothing gives him the right to hound you.

I suspect his pride has been dented, but that’s no concern of yours now.
