Vlad to hit form

SWITZERLAND boss Vladimir Petkovic insists his side are on the right road after their opening draw against Brazil.

Ahead of today’s clash with Serbia he said: “The first (match) is always the most difficult because you don’t really know how the team is feeling.

“We are going to be able to confirm this avenue that we are on, that we are on the right track.”

Serbia top the group following their 1-0 win over Costa Rica and a win would guarantee them a place in the last 16.

Boss Mladen Krstajic said the home crowd had backed them and added: “We expect the same tomorrow.”
