Ex had pre-villa ‘hook-up’
SCORNED Ellie Jones claims her ex-boyfriend Jack Fincham tried to get back with her – two days before going on Love Island and hooking up with Dani Dyer.
Ellie, a 22-year-old customer service worker, is one of 12 newcomers sent in to shake up the ITV2 show.
Ellie said of Jack: “I have got a bone to pick with you. Two days before you came here, we met. You could have left things with me a little bit different. You shouldn’t have been in contact with me two days before.”
Shame-faced Jack admitted: “I could have done, and I’m sorry. And I don’t think Dani’s going to be best pleased that I spent a few days in the villa with a girl that I’ve been seeing previously.”
Gobsmacked
Last night viewers saw the lads sent off to another villa – Casa Amor – where six new girls joined them, including Jack’s ex lover Ellie.
The stationery manager – who is coupled up with barmaid Dani and now calls her his “girlfriend” – was left gobsmacked by her arrival. He said: “It’s going to be a bit weird. You don’t expect to have a new girlfriend and then the girl that you’ve been sleeping with comes in.” The pair dated in 2016 but stayed friends.
Ellie let slip they met up two days before he flew to Love Island and scored with Dani. The daughter of EastEnders star Danny has no idea about their tryst.
Ellie questioned why he would do this when he was going on a dating show and suggested he wanted to find out if there was still a spark between them.
Dani from Essex has no idea that Jack is now sharing Casa Amor with his ex. She and the girls may be busy entertaining the six new lads in their villa but is worried what Jack might do.
She said: “I get really happy with someone and then some girl with a nice bum and boobs is going to try to sway him.”
The 12 new arrivals have already shaken things up. Adam Collard won’t quit to be with TV girlfriend Zara McDermott as he wants to get to know the new girls. Megan Barton Hanson may have paired up with Wes Nelson but with new lads, she confessed: “There are no loyalties.”
