ENGLAND fans who paid web sites £1,100 for tickets to the Colombia showdown will not be allowed in.

Fifa said seats bought from any other source than them will be automatically cancelled once identified.

England Football Supporters’ Federation spokesman Kevin Miles urged fans to exercise caution.

He said: “There have been a number of instances where supporters have paid for tickets which turn out to have been cancelled and they have been turned away from games.”

One fan who bought a ticket for a group game in Kaliningrad found her seat did not exist and had to sit in an aisle.

Around 3,000 Three Lions’ fans are expected to travel to Moscow for the Colombia match.

Supporters who had decided to stay at home are now scrambling for tickets for the match, which is a sell-out.

Fifa has fought a constant battle to stop secondary sites selling seats. But yesterday hundreds of tickets were still up for grabs on a host of websites.

Category One tickets – which should cost supporters £188 – were going for £1,096 on Viagogo.

Second class seats, which cost £142, were available for up to £677.

Ticketbazaar.co.uk was offering £870 for Category One and £487 for third class seats.

Officials fear some Russians who bought 5,000 bargain £26 Category Four tickets for the match – which were only available for local residents – could try to cash in.
