MY girlfriend’s best mate is the only woman who makes me feel alive.
Every time we make love I’m transported into heaven.
She’s such a fantastic person; so vivacious, exciting and cool.
She has energy bursting out of her and we have such a laugh.
We’ve been sleeping together for almost six months and I’ve never felt better.
My girlfriend works away a lot and her mate stops me from feeling neglected and alone.
But I’m fully aware that what we’re doing is probably wrong.

Recently my girl went up to Scotland and I shot round to her mate’s place so fast that I forgot to take a toothbrush.
We didn’t get dressed for four days. Instead we spent the whole time naked.
We went from the bed to the sofa to the bed again – and made love over and over again.
At one point we were so loud that her next-door neighbour started banging on the wall.
We deliberately screamed even louder until he came to the front door and started yelling through the letterbox that he was about to call the police.
We laughed until tears were rolling down our faces.
Now that’s what I call living! In contrast, my life with my girlfriend is sterile, predictable and safe. She’s not a bad person, but she no longer rings my bells.
My lover says she was always boring at school and everyone called her Miss Tight drawers. My lover swears she wants me but I don’t know how to handle this. Do I stab my girlfriend in the back and run off with her mate?
My problem is that my girlfriend is the one who earns the money and gives me a very good quality of life.
My lover is as broke as I am, so our life together would be hard.

I know you are obsessed with your lover and that she currently rocks your world but I don’t have much sympathy for you in this particular situation.
What you’re doing is wrong on so many levels and you should have woken up and walked away a long time ago.
However, if you do absolutely believe she is the new woman for you, then you have to stop sitting on the fence.
You can’t continue to con and bleed your hard-working partner dry, while seeing her mate on the side. What is it to be? A boring, but expensive life with your partner or beans on toast?
You have to decide because you can’t carry on as you are.
Don’t forget that there is nothing stopping you from getting a good job and turning your life around.
