ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVI­C has backed Sweden to ruin England’s dream – and win the World Cup.

The former Manchester United striker reckons his fellow Swedes have what it takes to beat the Three Lions in tomorrow’s quarter-final in Samara.

And Ibrahimovi­c is also hoping Sweden come out on top so he can mock his close friend, England legend David Beckham.

Beckham has backed Gareth Southgate’s men to win after overcoming Colombia on penalties in the last 16.

But Ibrahimovi­c, 36, has other ideas and even believes Sweden can go on to win the World Cup for the first time.

“I think Sweden can become world champion, just like I said before the World Cup started,” he said.

“They beat Mexico, who were strong, and then they defeated Switzerlan­d as well.

“So they have had success, which nobody thought they would.

“They believe in themselves and have a strong sense of unity within the group. Hopefully they can continue with that.

“Now it’s England on Saturday and we’re all there with our full support behind them.

“All Swedes in the world are proud of our national team and they will continue to be proud, no matter how it goes.”

The LA Galaxy star added: “They are hard to beat and difficult to score against. If they can continue, Sweden has a good chance.

“It’s not just about how good you are. Now there are a lot of emotions in the picture, because it’s about quarter-finals.
