Dad killer ‘snapped’

A WOMAN cut her war veteran dad’s throat with a shovel and buried his body in their back garden.

Barbara Coombes, 63, “snapped” after a lifetime of abuse from Kenneth, 87.

She also discovered the RAF veteran had a stash of explicit child images.

Coombes, of Stockport, went on to claim £190,000 of his benefits.

She was jailed for nine years at Manchester Crown Court yesterday after admitting manslaughter.
