Granny’s dope ‘for baking’

A GRAN found with £26,000 of cannabis in her home told police she only used it in her cakes.

Anita Jones, 51, said that the drug was her “secret ingredient”.

She told officers she would add the cannabis to butter and use it for a mix when baking brownies, cakes and cookies.

Cardiff Crown Court heard that 25 plants were found in the attic of her small flat in the city.

Jones, a gran and mother of five, pleaded guilty to producing cannabis and was handed a one-year community order.
