Sorry England didn’t get to final but they managed to do something no other team has done and that was bring the country together no matter what sport you follow. They still play on Saturday so I hope we all carry on cheering them on to win! JoM

There are plenty of positives we can take from England’s world cup exit. We won’t have to witness the embarrassing spectacle of Gareth Southgate being awarded a knighthood just for jumping up and down on the touch line wearing a waistcoat, people will hopefully accept that Kane is a good player but nowhere near world class, and best of all, we won’t have to see our team humiliated by France in the final.
