Troubled singer in YouTube rant
EAST 17 singer Brian Harvey sparked concern for his safety last night after claiming he has not left home in five years as people are out to “kill me”.
In a worrying YouTube rant, the pop star rambled about how a shadowy group had been plotting against him, forcing him to stay indoors.
The 43-year-old announced he was “ready to go to war” with unnamed enemies. “I’ve been a prisoner in my own home for about five years,” he said.
“I’ve got to be trapped, like a prisoner, in my own home after selling 22million records. Please support me, because if you don’t these people are going to kill me.”

During the bizarre 18minute video, the agitated singer announced he will launch a private criminal prosecution against his unnamed foes, which he hopes to finance through a Go Fund Me page.
But he never made it clear who his enemies are.
Brian later added: “Don’t think I ain’t got clones cos I have and we are going to f***ing war.”
Finally, he announced he has “God on my side” while pointing to a Bible.
It is the latest in a series of troubling incidents for the singer.
In the 1990s, Brian was one of Britain’s biggest pop stars in East 17. But in
2005 he was left with severe injuries after being run over by his own Mercedes.
He blamed the accident on wolfing down three giant baked potatoes.
The star has become known for posting bizarre conspiracy theory videos on his YouTube channel but many of them rubbish his claim to have not left the house for five years.
In 2014, he arrived at Downing Street demanding to speak to then Prime Minister David Cameron.
Brian also re-emerged in
2016 to appear in an online “mockumentary” in which he “got over his fear of baked potatoes”.
