5.45 This looks a good opportunity for MUATADEL (nb). He has raced at this track three times with form figures of 113 which includes a victory over today’s trip. The last time he was campaigned at this level he won and he now competes off a 1lb lower mark. There is probably more to come from Jeany, who made all to score on her Carlisle reappearance from an in-form rival. She is not harshly treated off a 4lb higher mark and is the least exposed in the field. Bondi Beach Boy has joined a yard (David Griffths) that has a good record with its sprinters and he made an encouraging debut when second at Beverley. If he can build on that then he should make his presence felt. 8.00

REACH HIGH (treble) ran a shocker when last seen at Jebel Ali back In February but surely he is better than that. As a juvenile he beat Harry Angel at Ascot and showed the right attitude to win a valuable handicap on the all-weather at Kempton last year. Clearly he has had his problems but the Bin Suroor stable is in fine form after a slow start and has a 30 per cent strike rate in the last two weeks.

Hajjam is a consistent performer at this level. He has won two of his last four starts and looks a major threat, despite being put firmly in his place by the selection’s stablemate, Victory Wave, on his latest start over track and trip. Georgian Manor’s latest run at Newmarket was too bad to be true. He had previously won a Beverley maiden and been beaten a nose at Lingfield by Emblazoned, who went on to finish third in a Group One. 9.05 There is plenty of stamina in the pedigree of Player’s Luck, so it is no surprise to see him stepped up in trip. It is a surprise to see him out so quickly after his handicap debut on Saturday when he was an encouraging second at Salisbury. That may be a tip in itself but SISTER CELINE (nap) may prove the stronger. The Roger Charlton (left) inmate appreciated the step up to this distance when just denied at Windsor, for which she has been handed a 4lb ratings rise.
