Girls’ lower count nearer the truth
MEN are more likely than women to lie about the number of sex romps they have had.
Baffled researchers wanted to discover why straight lads and ladies had such wildly different “magic numbers”.
Men reported an average of 14 lifetime partners while women reported only seven, according to a survey by the University of Glasgow. This means one of the genders must be lying.
After grilling the blokes in the study, researchers discovered that males have been wildly exaggerating the number of notches on the bedpost.

Fellas were more likely to guess how many sessions they had enjoyed, while the girls tended to be more precise in their sums.
And 1% of men insisted they had slept with over 100 women.
Nightclub legend Peter Stringfellow, who died last month aged 77, said he had bedded 2,000 ladies.
And Calum Best, 37, son of football legend George, says he has slept with so many women he has lost count of the real number.
