FIVE times now the man I love has failed to leave his wife and I’m distraught.

We’ve been sleeping together for two years and he’s the light of my life.

He was first meant to come to me on New Year’s Day, but then his daughter got ill. Now I’m facing the summer alone because he’s worried about his ageing mother and can’t get away until September.

Am I wasting my time? Everyone I know says he’s stringing me along, but the precious times we spend together are fab.

No-one is more exciting and loving as he is. He completes me and I don’t know how I’d start again without him.

He and his wife haven’t slept together in five years (after a botched operation) and he credits me with rescuing his libido and his sanity. I want to believe he’ll be all mine one day, but am I deluding myself ? JANE SAYS: You can’t allow your married lover to use you for a minute longer.

You’ve got to be strong and walk away today, otherwise you’ll be hanging around for ever. It’s very sad that you’ve spent so long waiting for him, but if he’s been playing games, then too much time has already been wasted.

He can’t be trusted because he always has a fresh excuse. What’s he going to come up with next? A poorly goldfish?

Take what you’ve learnt with you into your next relationship. Vow to emerge from this stronger and wiser – and enjoy what’s left of the summer on your terms.

Whatever happens, do not allow him to manipulate or control you again.

?? ?? But Sophie, it’s not… Oh my God, it’s Sophie! I suppose you’re happy with that tart, well good luck to you! See ya Oh Sophie… I’d do anything to get her back, but I suppose it’s too late now Hi Liam, how are you doing?
