KATE’S MUM: MONEY HAPPY RETURNS, MEG

Family ‘cash in’ over our latest Royal

PRINCESS Kate’s family have been accused of sneakily cashing in on Meghan’s birthday.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, are flogging personalised party goodies as Meghan celebrates her 37th birthday today.

They are plugging the range using a lookalike model of the new Royal called “Megan”. She is pictured celebrating her 18th with colourful banners carrying her name. The Middletons’ Party Pieces site reads: “Our wide range of personalised photo banners are perfect for girls and boys birthday parties. “Add a personal touch by adding a name and age or write your own custom message and a photo of the special birthday boy or girl.”

Despite dropping the “h” from the name, the model bears an uncanny resemblance to the Duchess of Sussex, who wed Prince Harry, 33, in May. Kate’s parents have been accused of cashing in before by selling royal-themed goods online. These include inflatable crowns, queen and princess wigs and corgi flags.

Shortly after the announcement that their daughter – the Duchess of Cambridge – was expecting her first child, they advertised baby goods.

They were also criticised for selling Loom Band kits after Kate and Prince William were spotted wearing the elastic bracelets. The latest sales move is unlikely to damage the growing bond between Kate and Meghan. Kate has reportedly become a “pillar of support” as her sisterin-law adjusts to her new life. Meghan and Harry are due to attend the wedding of his close pal, Charlie van Straubenzee in Surrey today.

He is reportedly to be best man.
