BRITAIN’S worst boxer says he’s not afraid to die in the ring.

“Rockin” Robin Deakin has taken up bare-knuckle fighting and insists he is out to do some “damage”.

The plucky underdog said: “If it’s my time to go, I am going to go. If it happens, it happens.”

Earlier this year, the 32-year-old hung up his gloves after losing 53 of 55 pro fights during his 12-year career. Along the way he won an army of celebrity fans, including EastEnders hardman Danny Dyer and Towie cast members.

But his licence was stripped by British boxing bosses in 2012 and he ended up competing in Spain.

After retiring Robin planned to settle down with his girlfriend but they later split, which led him to bare-knuckle sparring.

Now, he wants to show everyone what he is made of.

Robin, who was stabbed in the back of the neck three years ago, said: “I am not scared. You have to take risks. I am doing something I love.

“I am doing something I enjoy, and entertaining the fans. It doesn’t bother me if it happens. If it’s my time to go, I am going to go.

“It doesn’t matter if I am out on the street, or trying to earn a living by fighting.

“You can’t stop it. If it happens, it happens. I’m not scared of anything in life.” Robin, who lives in Brighton, added: “I’m going to make a lot of noise.

“I’m going to make a lot of people stand up and say, that guy can fight. I feel confident, on top of the world.”

He has been training hard ahead of his first fight at the London O2 Arena on September 8.

Robin said: “This has given me a second chance to show people what I can actually do. I’m buzzing.”
