Mum’s fury at badge trolling

-

A MUM who parked in a disabled bay while her seriously ill son had hospital treatment found a note branding her a “lazy conning b **** ” left on her car when she returned.

Emma Doherty, 31, has a blue badge for three-year-old Bobby who was born with three holes in his heart.

But a vile trolling message left on her car at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital told her: “You did not have a disabled person with you!

“These spaces are reserved for people who need them!”

Brave Bobby has already had 15 operations. He has no pulmonary arteries, meaning blood cannot pump round his body and he struggles to walk.

Half his life has been spent in intensive care.

Emma, who takes him to the Liverpool hospital from home in Wigan, Lancs, several times a week, said: “When I found the note I couldn’t believe it.

“We have a blue badge in the car and it even has Bobby’s picture so they must have seen it.

“It’s such a cowardly thing to do.

“Bobby’s disabled pass is not a con. He is seriously ill. Everyone needs to stop and think before acting.”

Emma has had more than 1,000 messages of support from people who heard of her plight on social media.
