People complaining about an NHS staff worker smoking while in uniform: O my god what is happening to this world. I’ve seen carers smoking in their cars then visiting the patients, you can guarantee they smell of cigarette smoke but they don’t get told to stop smoking till after work. Your comment in Sunday’s Star about young sportsmen was spot on about the people at the top seeming to ignore any wrong doings but I feel that also applies to the fans. Many times you read or hear of players who are clapped and cheered on their return to the game by loyal but sadly misguided crowds.
