WHEN I first met my man, I allowed him to take some sexy pictures of me.

He swore they were just for him and that he would never make them public.

So I was horrified when he casually mentioned them to a couple of friends during a drink in a pub garden. I shot him daggers but he would not shut up.

Eventually, I dragged him away and we had a hideous row. Our relationship has nose-dived ever since.

Today things are really bad. We’re rowing all the time, we’re not making love and he is disappearing for hours at a time.

I fear the relationship is coming to an end and that he’s going to try to use this horrible stuff against me.

Twice he’s mentioned the pictures in spite.

He’s broke with a huge overdraft and knows I have savings from an inheritance I got in 2016.

Am I in danger of being exposed?

JANE SAYS: Revenge porn is now a criminal offence.

Your boyfriend may believe he has something over you but if he shares any of that material without your permission he could face up to two years in jail.

I know it’s embarrassing but you have to break his power.

You have to get in first and expose him for the rat he is.

Talk to your parents. Tell them you’ve been stupid but can’t hide in the shadows a minute longer.

Explain about the pictures, apologise and ask them for their support.

Make it clear that your boyfriend is frightening you.

He hasn’t done anything horrible yet but the threat seems to be there. Discuss reporting him to the police.

Above all, you’ve got to get away from him in order reclaim your life.

Please don’t make the same mistakes again.
