TV star Paddy McGuinness and wife Christine are “devastated” after discovering that sneak thieves have been secretly raiding their home for weeks.

TELLY comic Paddy McGuinness and wife Christine called in cops after finding thieves had been secretly raiding their home for weeks.

The couple were said to be devastated after discovering cash and personal items worth thousands of pounds had vanished.

Detectives believe the couple, who have three children, may have been hit by burglars able to come and go without leaving a trace at their £2.1million estate.

Last night both Paddy and Christine declined to comment.

But a source close to the couple said: “They’re devastated. A great deal has gone missing. They are understandably hurt and angry.’’

Thefts

Take Me Out host Paddy, 45, and 30-year-old model Christine went together to report the thefts to police this week.

They were deep in conversation as they made their way from Wilmslow police station in Cheshire to their Range Rover.

Christine had been filming her TV show the Real Housewives Of Cheshire earlier in the day.

She returned to the police station yesterday and spent nearly three hours passing on further information to officers probing the case. Paddy is frequently away from home filming his hit ITV dating show.

The couple, who have been married since 2011, live in a seven-bedroom Cheshire mansion with their five-year-old twins Penelope and Leo and Felicity, 2.

It is not known if the couple were at home when the thefts occurred.

A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “The victims reported that a number of items, including cash, have been taken from their home over a period of weeks.

“Inquiries in relation to the allegations are ongoing.’’

Pc Steve Kaminski suggested that the couple may have been targeted.
