TV host in hospital takeaway
I’M A Celeb’s Dec Donnelly showed off his new sidekick yesterday – his baby daughter Isla.
The proud dad and his wife Ali finally took their little girl home.
Isla was born on Saturday at a London hospital.
The family arrived home in a black SUV and smiling Dec got out of the car with Isla in a carrycot.
The Geordie waved to well-wishers and many glimpsed their baby.
Dressed in a pink hat and snuggled under a pink knitted blanket, Isla snoozed away – completely unaware her father is one of the kings of Saturday night TV, hosting Saturday Night Takeaway, Britain’s Got Talent and also I’m A Celebrity.
Ali, looking blissfully happy as a new mum, opened the door and they went inside to enjoy some time alone.
It is the first time all three have been seen together. When Isla was born, Dec tweeted a photo of her gripping his finger, posting: “Ali and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our baby girl Isla Elizabeth Anne, who was born just after 9 o’clock this morning.
“Mother and daughter both doing well, Dad is head over heels! D x.”
The pair have just a few weeks to get used to being parents. All three will be jetting off to Australia at the start of November for the launch of the new series of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity.
Parents’ joy as little Isla arrives home
DECLAN Donnelly’s delighted wife Ali arrived home last night with her tiny bundle of joy.
And she had her newborn daughter Isla with her too!
