GREGG Wallace has moved his mother-in-law into his lovenest – and that’s no joke for the four-times wed chef. He believes it will help his marriage.

The MasterChef host reckons living with his wife Anne-Marie’s parents will make sure the relationship lasts.

GREGG Wallace has moved his mother-in-law – who is just four years older than him – into his lovenest to help his marriage.

The MasterChef host made 32-yearold Anne-Marie his fourth wife in

2016 after meeting her on Twitter. But after a couple of years of marital bliss, Gregg, 53, decided to move in her feisty 57-year-old mum Rina Sterpini as a safety precaution. He reckons it means his young bride cannot leave him.

The former greengrocer said: “Anne can’t leave me because mum would have to leave as well. “For an insecure old man with a younger woman, that’s good news.” While his wife does all the cooking, he has now managed to rope in the Italian matriarch to do his housework. He added: “AnneMarie, by her choice, doesn’t work. They’re funny these southern Italians, very old-fashioned.

Baby

“They take their roles very seriously.”

The unusual living arrangement is set to get even more crowded as his father-in-law is now expected to join them at their home in Whitstable, Kent.

Gregg and Anne-Marie are also starting fertility treatment so they can have a baby. Gregg insists the arrangement is making them all very happy.

He said: “It’s made a family home for them now Anne and her mum are here all the time.

“When you fall in love with a younger woman you’ve got to realise they are going to want a family.

“The game of love is a lottery. I got very lucky this time.”
