Eriksen aims to top ’em

SAME AGAIN: Pochettino same team for the last three seasons and we have been up there so we should be up there again, that’s our aim.

“They can buy as many players as they want but we have the same squad and we’re going to go for it. It’ll be an intense game.

“We’ll see where we end up at the end of the season, we’re looking forward to it.

“I think it will be a good game to watch. Both teams want to play forward and attack.”

Eriksen, 26, says Spurs will be fired up today after their shock defeat at Watford before the international break.

It was a big set-back for Mauricio Pochettino’s men after winning 3-0 at Manchester United.

Eriksen said: “After the Manchester United game when the stats and score showed how good we were, the manager said, ‘We can’t fly too high’.

“Sometimes you have to have your confidence knocked. Then you have to get back up and stay up and that’s what we have to do now.”

Eriksen calls Wembley the club’s second home but admits frustration that their new £1billion stadium is still not ready.

He added: “We can’t do anything, we can’t help build it. It’s disappointing, but hopefully it will be done soon enough.

“I have seen pictures and it looks incredible but Wembley is our second home.”
