I’M A Celeb winner Georgia Toffolo has told how trolls made her life a misery.

The former Made In Chelsea star said she was constantly ridiculed over her acne.

The 23-year-old, who has millions of followers on social media, has been bombarded with cruel comments.

Toff revealed: “Because of my job, I’m in a position where trolls can tweet me and say the most horrible things about my skin. People had been getting in touch on social media to say that they loved seeing my skin, and it meant a lot to them because they also struggled with their complexions.

“Of course, life is never quite as straightforward as we’d like it to be, and, for every lovely message someone sent about the difference I was making, I’d get a cruel troll.”

She added: “Are they under the impression that their acid tongues will somehow dry out the spots and make my skin clear?

“I don’t think these people realise just how hurtful these comments are.”

Target

Georgia suffered years of being bullied while a schoolgirl.

She opened up about her torment in her new book Always Smiling: The World According To Toff.

In a letter to her 14-yearold self, she wrote: “You’re still getting over some really awful bullying.

“You dealt with one of the toughest, most painful experiences imaginable, when that group of girls was so cruel that you ended up moving schools.

“You’ll never really understand what made them do that, or why they chose you as a target.”

Toff suffered more abuse at university because she was a reality TV star.

While introducing herself to her politics course, one boy yelled: “You forgot to say you’re a Made In Chelsea **** .”

But her tutor did not discipline him.

Toff said: “Nothing happened. I bit my lip and tried not to burst into tears. I felt awkward, ugly and alone.”

GEORGIA Toffolo has told how her life is being made a misery by internet trolls.

Total strangers send her abusive comments about her acne on a daily basis.

There will be some who say she should just ignore the jibes.

After all, celebrities need to be able to ignore the haters.

They make their living by putting themselves on a public platform.

And since the development of social media they have to take the rough with the smooth. Otherwise they won’t survive in showbusiness.

However, this doesn’t excuse trolls just hurling hurtful abuse at them all day long.

These cowards on keyboards seem to forget there is a human being at the end of the message.

Or they don’t forget and defend their vile actions as “free speech”.

When really it’s just old-fashioned bullying.

And something no-one should be proud of.
