The footballer wrote on social media: “Rape is an abominable crime that goes against everything that I am and believe in.”
The Portugal captain hit out after a probe into a 2009 sexual assault allegation against him was reopened in the United States.
Kathryn Mayorga, 34, claims he attacked her in a Las Vegas hotel and paid her off with $375,000.
Last night, photos were released showing the pair dancing hours before the alleged incident.
Ronaldo, 33, who initially brushed off the allegations as “fake news”, denied the claims on social media.
His statement on Facebook and Twitter continued: “Keen as I may be to clear my name, I refuse to feed the media spectacle created by people seeking to promote themselves at my expense.
“My clear conscious will thereby allow me to await with tranquillity the results of any and all investigations.”
A lawsuit filed by Miss Mayorga last week made a number of accusations against Ronaldo, or those working for him, including battery, racketeering, breach of contract, and negligence for allowing details of a confidential settlement to leak out.
Las Vegas police confirmed on Monday they are reopening a sexual assault case from 2009 which corresponds with the date of the allegation.
Miss Mayorga claims Ronaldo ordered “fixers” to trick her into keeping quiet with a settlement.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star now plays for Juventus in Italy.
Georgina Rodriguez, Ronaldo’s girlfriend and mother of one of his children, has supported him. She wrote on Instagram: “You always transform the obstacles that are put in your way into impulse and strength to show how great you are.
“Thank you for making us enjoy each game. Always more and better. I love you Cristiano.”
