Naughty Craig wants kissing couple to face music in public

STRICTLY judge Craig Revel Horwood wants Seann Walsh and Katya Jones to do “the dance of shame”.

There have been calls for the TV duo to quit after they were caught snogging.

And comedian Seann’s girlfriend Rebecca Humphries has dumped him.

But Katya claims she and her husband – show dancer Neil Jones – are still “very happy”.

Craig wants them to stay so they have to dance for millions who now know their secret.

He said: “I say keep them in the show. Make them do the dance of shame if you like.

“It happens in every walk of life, not only on Strictly.

“It is only because it is public. If you were at your Christmas party and you snogged the boss, you would still have to do the walk of shame on the Monday, wouldn’t you?

“I think it is really important that you face up to it and you apologise – which is what they have done and that is absolutely fine – and get on with the job and show people what you are made of.

“Show people, ‘OK this is what I did. I have been employed to do this job I am going to go on, do the job, get on with it and I am going to do it well and do it to my best’.”

The acid-tongued judge spoke out while recording his stint as a guest on tomorrow night’s Jonathan Ross Show with fellow Strictly stars Shirley Ballas and Darcey Bussell.

Darcey said of the famous Strictly curse: “I danced for over 20 years in The Royal Ballet and I’m still happily married.”

Head judge Shirley, who wed two dancers, added: “I was married twice and it was disastrous both times in my industry.”

Asked if the judges could see any special chemistry between Seann and Katya after their passionate paso doble last weekend, Craig said: “There was a mild improvement from the week before but I would not put that down to a snog at the back of a pub.”

Shirley added that she hopes viewers will “judge Seann and Katya on the dancing and not the relationship”.

And asked what would happen if they land in the dance-off, Craig said: “We can only say who is better or worse than the other one. We are professional.”

Darcey added: “It’s like a soap opera in itself.”
