Lag gets life after attacking women inmates
A SEX offender donned a wig and dress and changed his name to Karen to get into a women’s prison where he sexually assaulted two inmates.
After being charged with stabbing a neighbour, David Thompson convinced magistrates he was transgender.
He insisted his name was Karen White, 52, and he was sent to allwoman New Hall Prison in Wakefield, ®
West Yorks. Police then discovered he had raped two other women.
White was jailed for life at Leeds Crown Court after admitting rapes, sexual assaults and wounding.
Dressed in a bobbed wig, make-up and a floral blouse, White appeared via video link from HMP Armley, a male prison in Leeds.
The judge said he was “predatory and dangerous.” HOLLYWOOD star Arnold Schwarzenegger has admitted his past behaviour towards women sometimes “stepped over the line”.
Arnie, 71, was accused of sexual assault by several women during the race to become governor of California in 2003.
And in 2011 it emerged that Schwarzenegger had fathered a secret son more than 14 years earlier with his housekeeper.
The former Republican politician said: “Looking back, I stepped over the line several times and I was the first one to say sorry.
“I feel bad about it and I apologise.
“When I became governor, I wanted to make sure that no-one, including me, ever makes this mistake.
“That’s why we took sexual harassment courses, to have a clear understanding, from a legal point of view and also from a regular behaviour point of view, of what is accepted and what is not.”
But the father of five also said his view of masculinity has stayed the same despite the #MeToo movement sparked by the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault allegations. He told Men’s Health magazine: “I’ve not changed my view. I’m a guy,” he said. “I would not change my view of who I am.”
