Court grants Lisa divorce over TV star’s adultery
ANT McPartlin’s divorce from Lisa Armstrong was granted in just 30 seconds as she claimed the telly star had been “intolerable to live with”.

Their 12-year marriage was ended by the short hearing at London’s Central Family Court yesterday.
The decree nisi said the relationship had broken down “irretrievably” when they separated this January.
Neither Ant, 42, nor Lisa, 41, were present but afterwards the make-up artist broke her Twitter silence by “liking” a supportive tweet.
It read: “Get ready to pull your big girls pants tomorrow lovely lady cos its your turn to start afresh #thisisyourturn.”
Expert divorce lawyer Andrew Spearman said it was impossible to put an exact figure on how much of Ant’s £62million fortune Lisa will be awarded.
But she can expect a “sizeable sum” because “she has given up a lot to support him” in their 12-year union.
He said: “There will be at least some support over a period of time. There will be capital to ensure her housing needs are met and so that her financial situation doesn’t plummet.”
Either party now has six weeks for objections before the divorce is given the decree absolute.
Ant’s relationship with new girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett began while he was still legally married. News that Ant had moved on with his PA broke in June following a turbulent few months for the I’m A Celeb presenter.
The Geordie was convicted of drink-driving and handed a record £86,000 fine. He then announced a decision to take the year off from showbiz as he continues battling drink and drug addictions.
This Morning host Holly Willoughby, 37, is standing in for him in the Aussie jungle next month and has said she “won’t be trying to fill his shoes but keeping them warm for a little bit”.
