RESTING PLACE: Singer A CEMETERY to the stars is offering ordinary mortals a final resting place among the famous.

The plot with space for four urns is in a burial ground containing the graves of Michael Jackson and Elizabeth Taylor.

GWS Auctions is offering the chance for devoted fans to get eternally close to their heroes by selling off space at the famous Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles.

The cemetery is the final resting place of many iconic figures also including Walt Disney, Sammy Davis Jr, Clark Gable and Nat King Cole.

The successful bidder will receive an individual deed for a square large enough for four urns.

Brigitte Kruse, founder of California-based GWS, said the lot will offer the successful bidder a “final resting place among the stars”.

She said: “I don’t think anything like this has ever been offered for sale at auction before, so it will be fascinating to see how much interest there is in it.

“There are many people who would love to get closer to famous people.”
