Star reveals crush on TV joker
ACTRESS Charlotte Riley has confessed to a crush on camp comic Paul O’Grady.
The brunette beauty is the envy of fans around the world because of her marriage to Hollywood hunk Tom Hardy.
But Charlotte’s obsession with the TV presenter has caused a rift in their relationship.
Her heart-throb husband made her jealous when he got the chance to meet Paul at Battersea Dogs Home. The
36-year-old said: “I was very cross when Tom got to meet
Paul and I didn’t.
“That caused a rift for a little while.
“I’ve read all his biographies and I am slightly obsessed by him. I need to meet him.”
Mad Max star Tom, 41, and the 63-year-old TV host were brought together by their love of rescue dogs.
Tom and Charlotte met when he played Heathcliff to her Cathy in the 2009 ITV adaptation of Wuthering
Heights and they also starred in Peaky Blinders.
The actor has also gained
3.7million Instagram followers thanks to a series of snaps of him cuddling pooches. But Charlotte said Tom had kept his online fanbase quiet.
She revealed: “I didn’t know he had an Instagram account until about three weeks ago.
“He’s always been a bit of a Dr Dolittle.
“There are numerous friends and family who now have dogs that didn’t know they wanted one until Tom happened to find a dog that didn’t have a home.”
