LADY Colin Campbell – or Lady C as she is known to millions – hopes her suitor is minted this week.
The socialite and royal author famously lives in the 50-bedroomed Grade I listed Castle Goring in Sussex.
She’s been matched with an artist called Matthew in a TV charity special of the dating show.
However, he had better have a large bank balance as she never pays for dinner and expects her fella to keep her in the manner to which she has become accustomed.
Divorcee Lady C tells us: “A man should always pay. In my experience of marriage, if a man has less money than a woman then the relationship is doomed.
“It is rare that a man can keep his selfrespect when he makes a lesser contribution. If you cannot deliver the goods, then it won’t work.”
Lady C is among a host of stars including Joey Essex and Melinda Messenger who have signed up to find their Mr or Miss Right. Matthew had better be camera-shy too as the ex-I’m A Celebrity star cannot stomach those who act up when they are on television.
She said: “I don’t like people who play to the gallery.
“People only do that if they have no personality.
“It conceals the emptiness within. They obviously have nothing going on and crave attention.”
Viewers can see how she fares on Thursday at 9pm.
THE make-up artists have got their work cut out on the movie version of the ITV period drama.
The film picks up the action eight months after the show originally ended in 2015.
And actor Allen Leech, who plays Tom Branson, revealed: “Time-wise, we are eight to nine months after the show.
“But the actors are all three years older. It was a pretty heavy eight months!”
TELLY chef James Martin was offered the chance to get inked on Tattoo Fixers but welshed out. He explained: “Tattoo Fixers is my guilty pleasure. I tweeted about it and they invited me on. I don’t think I will. People go in with something small and phallic-shaped and leave with something really big.”
EX-Corrie actress Katherine Kelly doesn’t watch the soap any more. The mum of two said: “It’s on at the worst time at 7.30pm, which is bedtime. “All I watch now is CBeebies.”
