Klopp faces all-out War

- DAVID PREECE

NEIL WARNOCK will be looking to pull off the shock of the season at Anfield today.

As impressive as Liverpool have been, there is still the feeling that not all has quite clicked for them yet in the Premier League.

And Warnock’s Cardiff City side will pray that continues – especially after they won their first game against Fulham last time.

But the Anfield outfit looked to have found some of their old swagger in the 3-0 Champions League win over Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday.

That is good news for them but awful news for the Welshmen.

At the back, Liverpool have been solid but, ominously, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah have not quite hit full stride.

And the midfield has turned in to a conundrum for boss Jurgen Klopp.

Jordan Henderson, James Milner and Georginio Wijnaldum are reliable and Fabinho has still to find his feet – but they lack a real creative spark.

Finding value could be tough but if things click we will see goals.

A 6-0 Reds win is 18-1, better than over 5.5 goals which is only 4-1.

Xherdan Shaqiri is slowly showing what threat he can be and is

15-2 to score two or more.

Keeper Neil Etheridge has had a mixed start to Premier League life, conceding

19 goals but saving t w o penalties as well as keeping two clean sheets.

Over half of these goals have come in the first half and it is 6-4 for Liverpool to break the seal in this one.

Belgium ace Eden Hazard should be over his latest bout of Europa League-itis to feature at Turf Moor tomorrow.

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri was not pleased with his midfield’s performance on Thursday night, despite the ease of their

3-1 win against BATE Borisov.

After the bruising 5-0 defeat at Manchester City last week, there should be an angry reaction from Sean Dyche’s Burnley.

Whatever their approach, over 2.5 goals at half-time is 5-1 and if I was pushed I’d say Chelsea will lead

2-1 at the break at 18-1. That Chelsea win along with Arsenal and Manchester United wins is available as a

7-2 enhanced treble.
