Ash can tame Bernard threat

- BET OF THE WEEK

FANS of Manchester United could be forgiven for rubbing their hands with delight when Everton come calling.

United have won more games (35) and scored more goals (98) against Everton than any other club in the history of the Premier League.

But this is a burgeoning Blues side who have won their last three Premier League games and are now reaping the rewards of the philosophy of boss Marco Silva. Whether that will be enough to prevent United taking all three points at Old Trafford tomorrow is debatable.

If Ashley Young gets stuck into Bernard in the same way he did against Eden Hazard at the weekend, then United should have the upper hand. Brazilian Bernard has quickly become a fans’ favourite but this is a big test for Everton. It is also a big match for Romelu Lukaku, who has failed to improve his game since leaving Goodison and badly needs a goal. United are 8-11 to keep the points with the draw 14-5 and an Everton win at 17-4. Silva has never beaten his Portuguese compatriot Jose Mourinho in the Premier League, although his Hull side did beat United in the League Cup last year.

You have to go back to the 1990-91 season for the last time United had a minus goal difference after nine league games but they played well in the second half of their recent games against Newcastle and Chelsea.

United to win and both teams to score is 12-5 with BetVictor and that is the recommendation.

Today’s late kick-off sees Leicester entertain West Ham at the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes played Arsenal off the park for 25 minutes at the Emirates on Monday before they were brushed aside by Unai Emery’s exciting Gunners.

Leicester have lost just one of their last seven PL games against West Ham but that was their last meeting when the visitors gained a vital 2-0 win under David Moyes.

I doubt very much that boss Claude Puel will still be 12-1 with BetVictor to be the next manager to lose or leave his post if the Hammers get a positive result.

The Foxes are 23-20 to keep the points with the Irons 11-4 and the draw 5-2 with BetVictor. The draw is the recommendation.

Man Utd to beat Everton and both teams to score ... 12-5.
