HERE’S a sneak peek of the BBC’s lavish new adaptation of Richard Adams’s classic novel.
The two-parter boasts an all-star cast including plenty of Hollywood names – Rosamund Pike, James McAvoy, Sir Ben Kingsley and Gemma Arterton will all voice characters.
Peter Capaldi, John Boyega, Daniel Kaluuya and Taron Egerton are also involved.
And Oscar-winner Sam Smith has recorded an original song for the show.
He said: “I am so excited and honoured to be a part of this new adaptation of Watership Down. “This story is so powerful and timeless.”
It will air on BBC One this Christmas.
ALESHA Dixon has admitted Strictly stars risk ruining their relationships when they sign up for the show.
The pop star competed on the programme in 2007 and went on to win it.
She said: “If I was in a relationship at the time when I was asked to do the show, it would have been a thing I’d have to consider.
“Even for example, I did the NERD video for She Wants To Move and I remember when I got the phone call to do that the first thing I said was ‘I hope they don’t want me to kiss him’ because I was in a relationship and these things are important.
“But the fact that I was single on Strictly and didn’t have to worry about any of that was helpful. I could just focus on that trophy!”
Alesha was partnered with hunky professional dancer Matthew Cutler on Strictly.
Joking she fancied him, she added: “I was single at the time. I probably tried to snog him, knowing me.
“The thing is on Strictly I was just so focused on doing well that I didn’t have time for the hanky panky and the nonsense that goes on. Do you know what though, the sexual chemistry is real.
“You’re rubbing up upon them! It is intense so I can see how it goes down that road.”
Alesha spills the beans on The Jonathan Ross Show, which airs tomorrow at 10.35pm on ITV.
