FAB TO CONFIRM RUN

-

4.30 FABIOLLA (nap) can get the of main rival Watheerah in what looks like a match in the opener at Kempton’s matinee meeting.

Hayley Turner, (pictured) was aboard the Roger Varian-trained juvenile when the filly made her debut at Yarmouth and again takes the ride. Starting unfancied at

20-1, Fabiolla did well to run the Godolphin-owned favourite Nashirah to half a length.

She ran green and hung left that day and with that run behind her she should have too much for another promising filly,

Watheerah, who was also second on debut. That run came at Newmarket, where Watheerah went even closer than the selection did on her first run, going under by a short head to Nearooz, keeping on well close home. knocking

5.30 SKYDIVING (nb) has been on the door in all his three all-weather runs, finishing runner-up each time – and his chance may come today. He stayed on well from a wide draw here last time and might have gone close to winning with a better pace to run at. likely

5.00 I’m not convinced about the

odd-son favourite, Cloudlam, so I am putting up ELENORA

DELIGHT (treble) as a viable alternative. She has only run the once, but that was a performance that boded well for the future – a seventh in a Newmarket maiden behind Ceilidhs Dream with Sea Of Class in second. To finish that close to the Arc runner-up should ensure that Elenora Delight is well up to winning.

Cloudlam was second on her second outing behind the odds-on Jamil at Hamilton on soft ground and is sure to improve on that run.
