Harry grabs dramatic double

flick which was heading for the top corner – until Angelino cleared off his own line.

Moments later Alli slipped Kane in but the England striker’s shot was blocked by Viergever as Spurs tried to shift through the gears.

They did just that too – and how they didn’t level the game in the 28th minute is anybody’s guess.

Alli pinched it initially from Daniel Schwaab and played in Eriksen, whose effort was brilliantly blocked by Zoet.

But the PSV keeper did not stop there, leaping to his feet to deny Alli from pointblank range on the follow-up as well.

Gazzaniga, who had nerves jangling with a Cruyff turn in his own box, then made a flying two-handed save from Gaston Pereiro.

Then when Kane tried his luck at the near post, Zoet was there again to deny him. But he couldn’t do anything about the striker’s 78th-minute breakthrough.

It was a simple long ball from Eriksen which Kane won then hammered home after a lay-off from Fernando Llorente.

Gazzaniga pulled off a vital save from former Arsenal youngster Donyell Malen – and then Kane struck again.

It was a looping cross from Ben Davies and Kane’s header took TWO deflections on it’s way in. But he didn’t care – and neither did Spurs.
