RYLAN Clark-Neal is “doing everything in his power” to get Big Brother back on TV.

The 30-year-old, who won the celebrity series in 2013, hosted sister series Bit On The Side for five years.

He spoke out after being left devastated by Channel

5’s decision to axe the show.

“My brain just doesn’t understand that it’s not coming back,” he said.

“To me, I can’t understand that I have presented it for the last time. It’s going to be majorly missed.

“And trust me, I am doing everything I can do in my power to get it back.”

The hit show would have to build a new house if it did return as the one used for 18 years at Elstree Studios is being demolished.

A source said: “The production company who make Big Brother own the house, but Elstree Studios own the land, so the house has to be taken down now the show has been cancelled.

“It’s not the end for the show and everyone is convinced it’ll find a new home on another channel, but the house has to leave the site it’s stood on for the last 18 years.” Host Emma Willis said she was “sad and disappointed” that Channel 5 axed the programme.

She said: “It’s been a massive part of my life. I am sad about it but everything needs a break at some point – or a rest, or a new home – to breathe life into it again. “So hopefully, it will come back, but if it does come back it needs to be in the right way and not rushed.”
