Back Schin business

- By JAMES NURSEY

CHRIS SCHINDLER insists Huddersfield can outperform the big spenders.

A 2-0 win at Wolves on Sunday lifted David Wagner’s side out of the Premier League drop zone.

Town have now picked up seven points from three games ahead of Saturday’s visit by Brighton.

German defender Schindler said: “Being at the bottom week in, week out is really frustrating.

“For us it is important that we don’t have to chase other clubs all the way. Getting a win which you maybe don’t expect is really vital for us and makes this week easier.

“The teams who got promoted, like Fulham and Wolves, have so much money they can buy a lot of quality players.

“They are not normal promoted teams so the quality of the Premier League is higher than it was last year.”

Schindler says the Terriers are now getting their rewards after losing 3-0 to Chelsea and 6-1 to Manchester City in their first two games.

He added: “We believe in what we are doing and believe in our team.

“If you play against City and Chelsea in the first fixtures it is tough to keep your head up but we came back.

“The performances were good before as well but we didn’t get the results.

“Now we have got this little bit of luck we need and also the performance.” CONFIDENT: Schindler
