What’s been your highlight?

Finding out I was in the final was a huge highlight for me.

What’s been your low point?

Low points happen but you got to keep going and focus on the good, so I couldn’t name a particular time.

Tell us a secret about your mentor?

If I had a secret I wouldn’t tell anyone. I have a lot of time for Louis, we have mutual respect for each other.

What Xmas gift would you surprise Dermot with?

I’d buy him a tuxedo and a cane!

Who would your dream duet be with?

Leona Lewis, Adele, Kendrick Lamar, Jessie J, Ariana Grande… Everyone!

All time fave song and why?

I Believe – Fantasia Barrino. It’s just about how anything can happen and never give up. It’s a beautiful song!

What would you call your debut album?

I have no idea at the moment – it’s hard to put it into words.

What would you spend your first £1million pay cheque on?

I’m not that kind of guy, I’m not caught up in money. I just want a career and to stay true to myself.

In the movie of your life who would play you?

Chadwick Boseman.

I’ve never won before! I’ve worked really hard to be here and I’ve been waiting for this opportunity for a long time.
