The band are going to add the track to their setlist for their 2019 tour.
And they will make campmate James McVey wear the full Jungle clobber on stage!
Singer Brad Simpson joked: “We should learn the music to I’m A Celebrity for the tour next year and get him out in the outfit with the Jungle hat.
“We are going to have a surprise party too when he comes home, it’s got to be big.” The Vamps knew James would be entering the jungle a few months ago but decided against cancelling concerts. Brad told me: “We have been prepared for this, we’ve done things with one member less before so we are just making it work. “We were in Argentina recently and we just substituted a few things, it was fine.”
Brad has been rooting for James to go all the way: “I’ve got a bet on him. Maybe in the future another one of us could do it, it’s an amazing life experience.
“I’m reserving myself for Strictly but I don’t think my dance moves are very good.” When James gets home The Vamps will have new music ready to go.
He added: “We are working on a new EP and were have written and produced completely ourselves.”
