OBSESSED EX IS JAILED FOR FAKE KIDNAP
Stalker’s false bump
AN OBSESSED ex was jailed yesterday after buying a false baby bump to fake a pregnancy then staging her own kidnap when her lover dumped her.
A court heard “intelligent, resourceful” PR executive Jessica Nordquist turned stalker after colleague Mark Weeks broke off their brief relationship.
The 26-year-old purchased a fake bump on Amazon to back her claim that she was eight weeks pregnant.
She sent messages to Mr Weeks’s clients accusing him of rape, set up a fake account and sent out a “confession” email making it appear that he was owning up.
In a campaign against him she set up 20 fake
Instagram accounts branding him a sex attacker.
Finally she faked her own abduction. Mr Weeks received photos of her tied up and attached to a message reading: “We raped and stole her.”
Police found her safe and well in Scotland, hundreds of miles from where she worked in London.
Yesterday Alaska-born Nordquist, was jailed for four-and-a-half years at Snaresbrook Crown Court. She was convicted of stalking, sending malicious communications and perverting justice following an earlier trial. She smiled and said “thank you” as sentence was passed. She also is banned from contacting Mr Weeks. A psychiatrist said a childhood trauma may have led to her offending.
