-

DOLLY Parton is saying Hello to a 9 To 5 sequel.

And there will be a new movie starring original co stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin.

Dolly spilled: “We’re going to be getting the first script any day now, we’re hoping to get filming with us some time next year.

“It’s kind of based on the #MeToo movement and all of the problems that women are still having – the harassment and the equal pay and that sort of thing.

“And the three new girls wonder what happened to those three women that made so many changes so many years ago and they look us up, Lily, Jane and I, and we’ve got different businesses in different parts of the country. We’re successful women and we advise them so there’s a lot of fun, a lot of good stuff that comes from that.”

No-one has yet been cast in the roles of the young women but original scriptwriter Pat Resnick is JACK Savoretti’s next single will be called Candlelight – a huge teaser from his forthcoming album Singing To Strangers. Plus he’s announced a huge show at The SSE Arena, Wembley, next May. back on board alongside Rashida Jones. Dolly is also back with a new soundtrack to Netflix movie Dumplin’ at the moment.

It’s the first of many Netflix projects as eight of her most famous songs will inspire feature films over the coming years.

She explained: “We have a movie that’s going to be coming out with Julianne Hough playing Jolene. I’m acting in some of them and I’m producing all of them and I’ll be singing in all of the movies.”

Dolly, 72, continues to inspire all kinds of women.

She added: “As I’m older now looking back it really makes me sort of proud that younger people seemed to have been inspired.”
