MANCHESTER UNITED have fallen so far behind Liverpool it’s embarrassing – and I don’t think their players listen to Jose Mourinho any more.

But the really bad news for United fans is that Liverpool could actually win the title this season. They are playing at that kind of level.

I honestly can’t believe, over the course of three years, how massive the gap has got between the two clubs. United always used to finish above Liverpool.

Now it’s no contest and that must really hurt for United fans. At least with Manchester City you know you’re up against a bottomless pit.

You’re basically competing against a whole country with all the money they’ve got. But falling behind Liverpool must hurt more because it’s different with them.

Liverpool don’t have City’s resources. They’ve spent money, yes, but they’ve spent it well. Look at the money United have wasted.

Alexis Sanchez has been terrible. Paul Pogba is a World Cup winner but how many games does he dictate? He’s not disciplined enough and just plays his own game.

Romelu Lukaku I think has done alright. He’s a good player who scores goals, but his confidence is just really low at the moment.

But look at the others? Who’s been a success? Victor Lindelof ? No. Eric Bailly? No. Fred? We’ve barely even seen him. What does he do?
