SMART NICKY’S AT FULL POWER

Henderson double bid

-

NICKY HENDERSON seems to hold all the aces in the G2 Unibet International Hurdle.

The Seven Barrows handler has We Have A Dream and Brain Power flying the flag in the 3.05 race and from 9am Unibet will be top price all runners in this 2m showpiece.

Stepping back down in trip, the former ran well at Ascot but did not quite last the distance so the return to 2m should suit this 7-2 shot.

Brain Power is 8-1 for his return to timber and sports cheek pieces under Nico de Boinville who, in his Unibet blog, reports his mount to be in good shape after a schooling session.

But Supreme winner Summerville Boy tops the market at 5-2 and is expected to take a big step forward after his fourth place in the Fighting Fifth on his seasonal bow.

Champion trainer Henderson then has Rather Be in today’s Caspian Caviar Gold Cup (1.55).

Brought down when well-placed four from home last time, the ground is ideal here and he is 10-3 from 9-2.

Baron Alco is up 6lbs for his latest win but Gary Moore’s charge is hard to peg back if getting a soft lead and 6-1 with Unibet looks a great each-way price.

Guitar Pete won the race last year and is not too badly handicapped but today’s underfoot conditions may prove too quick unlike Cepage who has been very strong in our antepost BRAIN GAME: Trainer Nicky Henderson’s Brain Power is one of his two runners in the 3.05 at Cheltenham
