A BOY of five became the third member of the same family to die following a house inferno.

Harvey Collison, his mother Justine, 33, and his eight-year-old sister Isabella are all dead after the blaze at 7am on Saturday.

Isabella and her mum were declared dead on being pulled from the building but Harvey survived until yesterday.

Justine’s husband, Gavin, 34, remains seriously ill in hospital, while her own mother, Diane, 53, is understood to have been led to safety.

She has been described as a “great mummy” and tributes have been paid to the “lovely family”.

Police and the fire service are now investigating the cause of the blaze in Collingham, Notts.

One devastated pal in a tribute wrote: “My beautiful best friend and her two beautiful children all taken in such awful circumstances.”

Another posted: “Woken up in a sweat. Still can’t believe it’s true! Just can’t stop thinking about the awful news of Justine Collison and her children passing away.

“She took life by the horns and lived it to the fullest. My head is blown, my heart is heavy. Devastated for all the family that I grew up with that treasured her and her children so much.”

And Catherine Hardy, who worked with Justine, added: “You could not meet a nicer woman. She was always smiling and adored her children and her husband.”

Area Chief Inspector Rich Stapleford yesterday said: “Tragically a boy, five, who was rescued from the house and taken to hospital has died.”
