TV bosses have ordered a blanket ban on the Duchess of Sussex’s family cashing in on her royal fame next year.

BBC and ITV chiefs have blocked the Markle family from appearing on their shows to avoid upsetting Meghan and husband Prince Harry, who are expecting their first child.

Meghan’s half-sister Samantha Grant, 53, is reported to be seeking a bumper pay deal on US telly, along with other family members including her dad Thomas, 74.

I’m A Celebrity producers blocked Meghan’s relatives from appearing and Beeb bosses did not even consider them for Strictly.

A TV insider with close links to both networks revealed last night: “The Markles will not be getting any air time any longer.

“Meghan is pregnant and her crazy American family have been banned from prime time telly for next year.

“ITV and the BBC feel that her wider family have simply trolled her for over a year and giving them any air time is simply not acceptable.

“The last thing either channel wants to do is to give air time to people with an agenda to knock PREGNANT: Duchess of Sussex Meghan, and create drama and stress for a pregnant royal. Not only would their audience be unhappy, but it would not look good for them with the Palace.”

Thomas and Samantha did explosive news interviews with Piers Morgan on ITV’s Good Morning Britain earlier this year which grabbed headlines worldwide.
