racism is rife at present in football! Rugby League: I’ve never heard a dirty racist comment against any player or official. It’s very rare we have crowd violence – the rivalry is intense but both team supporters can have a drink in ground pubs before games. This football crowd violence is ruining a great game. As a B’ham fan, I am watching other clubs preparing to sign decent players on big wages to give their promotion hopes a boost. It leaves a bitter taste in the mouth to be honest. How have the EFL sunk this low? What happened to fair play? The championship is no longer a fair competition.
